Plot Farm 1.0

Okay, here's something I came up with last night. I give you 10 words/phrases and you put some of them/all of them together in such a way as to create a truly original movie plot. String them all together, put them in a sentence, a paragraph, whatever you want.

Who knows maybe HWood will be browsing, come across your truly original movie plot and come calling.

NOTE: Don't let the title fool you. This is not a program that I wrote last night that randomly generates plots. You have to do it yourself, you lazy asses.

Okay, here are the words/phrases.

Seagulls
An old timepiece
Picture Frame
Jet Plane
A piece of rope
The Caribbean
A bum leg
August
A Flower Shop Owner
Blond Hair

Can't wait to see what you come up with.

I gave it a try and it's really bad. (FYI, the loss of the USS Memphis is true historical event).

Evil Seagulls have stolen a very special old timepiece that allows our hero to travel through time. Our hero jumps on a jet plane to chase the seagulls and follows them to the Caribbean. Our hero pulls his jet plane along side the evil seagulls and uses a piece of rope to attempt to lasso his timepiece back. While doing so he inadvertently activates the time travel capability of the timepiece and jumps back in time to August 29, 1916.

At three in the afternoon of August 29, 1916, the 14,500-ton armored cruiser Memphis and the 1177-ton gunboat Castine were riding gently, anchored in the open roadstead off Santo Domingo, capital city of the Dominican Republic. Rear Admiral Charles F. Pond, for whom Memphis was flagship, and a recreation party were ashore and the remainder of the ships' officers and crews were engaged in normal duties. Far away somewhere in the depths of the Atlantic Ocean or Caribbean Sea, a seismic event had already generated a powerful tsunami, or tidal wave, as such things were then termed. One of the two ships would barely escape its effects, while the other would be driven ashore a complete wreck. More than forty men would lose their lives.

Our hero realizes that he can save those men’s lives if he can warn Admiral Pond. But the only person that believes him is a beautiful blond flower shop owner. Plus all he knows about the mysterious admiral Pond is that he has a bum leg from an encounter with a shark and he carries a framed picture of the shark on his person at all time.

Will he be able to find Admiral Pond? Will warning him of the tsunami change the future? Will he find love with a blond, Caribbean Flower shop owner from 1916? Find out in Seagulls of Destiny coming this summer to a theater near you.

You're a bold man, Guy.

Thanks for putting yourself out there for my first ever Plot Farm. I'm hoping I get more participation in the future. In the meantime, I'm going to give it a shot.

A Flower Shop Owner has lived a quiet life for over 20 years now, until one day in August, a beautiful woman with blond hair and a bum leg presents him with a piece of rope and an old timepiece. The Flower Shop Owner suddenly shuts down his business and mysteriously hops a private jet plane for The Caribbean to live his old life. One that is drastically different from his life as a Flower Shop Owner.

It smacks a bit of A History Of Violence, but that's my crack at it.

I'm willing to sell it for 150,000 up front and points on the backend.
