Top 5 Tuesdays (T5T) Is A Rerun

I don't know about you, but I'm ready for the writers strike to be over. Seeing reruns of shows that should be new is getting kind of old. And the word I got last night from one of my writer friends is that negotiations have stopped until after the holidays, so it's going to be a long winter my friends. Of course reruns could be better if they dug into the vault and brought out shows we really wanted to see. Old favorites that we probably own on DVD, but would still love to see again if we popped on the old boob tube every night. So give me your Top 5 TV show you would love to see instead of the crap they're running now.

1. Thunderbirds Watch every week as the Thunderbirds save us from ourselves and battle The Hood in the process.

2. Twin Peaks Still one of the best TV shows to ever appear on TV. Agent Cooper, Laura Palmer and the Log Lady would be welcome in my family room.

3. The Carol Burnett Show In lieu of 30 Rock and The Office, give me Carol, Tim and Harvey cracking up on stage every night.

4. Space Giants Let me see Goldar battle Rodak without messing his long blond locks.

5. 24 But only the first season because it was by far the finest.

Those are my top 5, what are yours?

After number One, they are in no particular order.

1. Seinfeld - Several channels run this, and I still can't get enough of it. My favorite show of all time.

2. 24 - I totally agree, except I think the third season was the best (the first 3 seasons are all very close, in my opinion). People never think so, but I find this show to have great replay value.

3. Curb Your Enthusiasm - The season are few and far between.

4. Wonder Years - I don't have TV, so I don't know if any channel still reruns this, but I sure hope someone does. Great music plus a lot of heart equals a gem.

5. Salute Your Shorts - Camp Anawanna, we hold you in our hearts...

You can tell how old I am...

In no particular order:

Magnum: and I'm not gay for Tom Seleck. Maybe a little curious. But only the first season-by far the finest.

Seinfeld: never gets old

My So-Called Life: short-lived as it was I could use a dose.

Chapelle Show: has it's syndication run now and I've actually seen a few I dodn't know exsisted.

Lost: Just start running this everynight of the week and I'll watch.

1. WKRP - We'll never see the full episodes on DVD with music intact. I suppose they'll never re-air them with music intact either, but if you're gonna dream...

2. Barney Miller - Best freaking theme music ever.

3. Mystery Science Theatre 3000 - OK, OK, I'll stop kidding around and start listing something they might actually show...

4. Firefly - Only 14 shows, but man was it good.

5. Whose Line Is It Anyway - Just make new ones! No writers needed. You can skip all the scripted jokes for Drew...Better yet, do the British version.

24, Season 1 was certainly the best and the season that introduced the world to Elisha Cuthbert in all her jiggly glory....

Forgot about Wonder Years. Great show.

I have know idea what Salute Your Shorts is. What is it?

Bob,

Never saw Firefly, but I'm interested in checking it out because I did like Serenity.

Joseph,
