Why Do I Even Know This Guy's Name?
I guess I should be hopeful. Adam Carolla is the Hollywood dream realized. He debunks the myth that you have to pretty or talented to have a career in Showbiz.

I'd add his former partner, Jimmy Kimmel, to the list.
I don't get why either is popular.
Although CRANK YANKERS was funny.
He made his first splash by sitting next to Dr. Drew and being sarcastic. Then he made himself better known by sitting next to Jimmy Kimmel and being sarcastic. I guess he's good at riding other people's coattails.
That's been his career thus far. I don't mind Jimmy, but this guy sucks.
And I had to endure an entire Football Sunday while he told me to Be A Man and Eat Taco Bell.
Really, they should have the TV be more interactive so I could shout back at him and tell him to GET THE HELL OFF MY TV SET, YOU TALENTLESS HACK.
I listened to Carolla's radio show once. Once was enough.
Jimmy sure rose pretty fast from his little spot as the Kevin & Bean morning show sports guy...
I used to really like him on Loveline and he plays a damn good Death on Family Guy. But I wasn't aware he was still on TV...are we sure he is?
Boo - I'm a Carolla fan. Loved him on Loveline, never cared much for The Man Show outside of the trampoline sequences (of course), but enjoy his radio show, his wit and his common sense approach to life.
Though I'll give you that the Taco Bell commercials are annoying. Then again, when's the last time ANY Taco Bell commercial wasn't annoying?
elgringo,
I like that. Are we sure he's still on TV?
Fletch,
You make a good point about Taco Bell commercials. I don't listen to Carolla on radio but thinking about it I may like him there because then I won't have to look at his smug mug staring at me with his shit-eating grin like he's the smartest man in the room which he is not.
Piper, I understand your dislike for Carolla. I never liked him at all ... that is, until I saw THE HAMMER. This is an underrated gem in my opinion, about 200% better than I expected.
Ray,
Never heard of The Hammer. I'll have to check it out.
