PIPER said...: You heard the story on this movie right? For some reason or not, Cusack didn't think it was going to be a screwball comedy. So while they were making One Crazy Summer, Steve Holland screened a cut of it for the cast and crew. Cusack was completely pissed. That is until it was a fan favorite.

I think Moviezzz posted about it a while back.

I couldn't stop smiling when I saw that picture and thanks for extra info in the comments, I really didn't know that was how Cusack thought it was going to turn out and that he still hates it. How could he? It's wonderful.
